Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using K9Port ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

Description of Service

K9Port provides kennel management software including but not limited to: dog care tracking, client management, booking systems, invoicing, and AI-powered care predictions ("The Brain").

Account Registration

To use K9Port, you must:

• Create an account with accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

Subscription and Payment

Free Trial

We offer a 14-day free trial of the Professional tier. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial, you may choose to subscribe to a paid plan or your account will be limited.

Paid Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice. Refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your current billing period. Data export is available upon request.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Upload malicious code or content
• Share account credentials with unauthorized users
• Use the Service to harm animals or facilitate animal abuse
• Resell or redistribute the Service without permission

Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into K9Port. You grant us a license to use this data to provide and improve the Service, including training our AI systems. We will not sell your data to third parties.

The Brain AI

The Brain is an AI system that makes predictions based on patterns in your data. While we strive for accuracy, The Brain's predictions are suggestions only and should not replace professional judgment. You are responsible for all care decisions for animals in your facility.

Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance that temporarily limits access. We will provide reasonable notice when possible.

Intellectual Property

K9Port and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by K9Port and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Limitation of Liability

K9Port shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold K9Port harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
